This is a true vintage 1950s nightgown and robe set, from the early 50s, both with a lace top or bodice over a full, sweeping and quite sheer skirt. This peignoir set is an unusual and lovely shade of amber, or beige and light brown, by vanity fair in an unusually larger size. The lace top of the duster robe, or housecoat, has a button down front and is more like a lace jacket with an open front skirt with a slit down the front without closure. This sleepwear would best fit as a size large or XL. The label reads “Vanity Fair” size 36” meaning it has a 36” bust. All nylon. There are three rips in the skirt of the nightgown - one on each side and on front and center but completely hidden in a fold.
