1950s summer fit & flare dress with the most beautiful painted fabric featuring silver metallic leaves on hand drawn branches with bright yellow and pink butterflies flying in between the trees. The bodice is masterfully darted at the sides and at the bust, and it’s hem separates itself from the dresses skirt, which is very full. The bodice is extremely flattering for these reasons - creating a nipped waist and adding fullness at the bust. Cute bell shaped “flowers” made out of fabric at left shoulder, just for fun. This dress is in incredibly perfect condition. The zipper is a little slow-moving but works fine for now - may need to be updated in the future. Just an incredibly romantic dress with beautiful, painted fabric in a rare modern size with a very flattering shape.
bust 40” • waist 29” • bodice hem just below waist and above hips, the scalloped hem where the bodice meets the skirt (all the way around measures) 34” • hips full
